This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all use of the Harbor Works platform ("Platform"). By using the Platform, you agree to comply with this policy. This AUP is incorporated into the Harbor Works Platform and Services Agreement.
1. General
You may use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with your subscription agreement. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including activity by your agents and any users you authorize.
2. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Platform to:
2.1 Illegal Activity
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or court order
- Facilitate fraud, money laundering, or terrorist financing
- Traffic in illegal goods or services
- Infringe or misappropriate any third party's intellectual property rights
2.2 Harmful Content and Behavior
- Generate, store, or distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- Create or distribute malware, ransomware, or other malicious software
- Conduct phishing, social engineering, or credential harvesting attacks
- Harass, threaten, defame, or impersonate any person or entity
- Generate spam or unsolicited bulk messages through any channel
2.3 Platform Abuse
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other customers' environments, data, or accounts
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Platform or any connected system without written authorization
- Interfere with or disrupt the Platform, its infrastructure, or other customers' use
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Platform
- Circumvent any usage limits, rate limits, or access controls
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute Platform access without our written consent
- Use the Platform to build a competing product or service
2.4 Resource Abuse
- Run cryptocurrency mining or proof-of-work computations
- Use the Platform as general-purpose compute, storage, or hosting unrelated to agent workloads
- Deliberately consume excessive resources to degrade service for other customers
2.5 Deceptive AI Use
- Deploy agents that impersonate real people without their consent
- Use agents to generate content that is misleadingly presented as human-authored in contexts where disclosure is required by law
- Use agents to manipulate markets, elections, or public discourse through automated deception
3. LLM Provider Terms
Your use of the Platform involves third-party providers and integrations (such as LLM providers, messaging platforms, and connected productivity services). You are responsible for complying with the applicable terms, policies, and acceptable use requirements of any provider you access through the Platform. Violations of provider terms may result in service disruption or termination.
4. Data and Content
4.1 Your Responsibility
You are responsible for all data, content, and prompts you provide to the Platform and for the outputs your agents generate. If your agents interact with third parties (via email, messaging, etc.), you are responsible for those communications.
4.2 Regulated Data
If you process data subject to specific regulatory or contractual requirements (such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, or similar obligations), you must notify us in advance and obtain our written approval before that data enters the Platform. Any required addenda or special terms must be fully executed before such use begins.
5. Security
You agree to:
- Keep your account credentials confidential and use strong, unique passwords
- Enable multi-factor authentication when available
- Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
- Not share API keys, tokens, or access credentials in public repositories or unsecured channels
6. Monitoring and Enforcement
6.1 No Obligation to Monitor
We do not actively monitor the content of your agents or data. However, we reserve the right to review activity when we have reason to believe this AUP has been violated.
6.2 Enforcement Actions
If we determine that a violation has occurred, we may (at our discretion):
- Issue a warning and request remediation
- Suspend access to the Platform
- Terminate your account
- Report the activity to law enforcement if required by law
We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before taking action, except where immediate action is necessary to protect the Platform, other customers, or third parties.
6.3 Appeals
If you believe enforcement action was taken in error, you may contact us at support@harborworks.ai to request a review.
7. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any activity that violates this AUP, please report it to support@harborworks.ai.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. We will notify customers of material changes at least 15 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
